Report Unauthorized Electronic Transactions Immediately

If you believe an unauthorized electronic transaction has occurred on your account, contact Community Bank of Missouri immediately at 816-776-6669 or 816-637-6669.
 
If you discover unauthorized activity after normal business hours, please call 1-800-500-1044 to report your debit card as lost or stolen and prevent additional unauthorized transactions. 
 
Under federal law, if you notify us within two (2) business days after learning of the loss or theft of your debit card or other unauthorized electronic transaction, your liability may be limited. Failure to notify Community Bank of Missouri within two (2) business days may increase your liability for unauthorized transactions. 
 
You must report unauthorized electronic transactions within 60 calendar days after the transaction first appears on your bank statement. If you do not notify Community Bank of Missouri within this time frame, you may be responsible for losses that could have been prevented had you notified us promptly. 
 
After reporting the unauthorized transaction and turning off your debit card, please visit any Community Bank of Missouri location to complete a Fraud Investigation Form, or download the form below. 
 
 

Important Information for Business Accounts

The protections provided by Regulation E (Electronic Funds Transfer Act) apply only to consumer accounts. Debit cards issued for business accounts are not covered by Regulation E, and business account holders may have unlimited liability for all unauthorized electronic transactions.
